Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Kevin was adopted by his loving parents, Elizabeth and Peter in 1996, his obituary says.
Kevin attended Basking Ridge High School, where he developed a passion for skateboarding and snowboarding. He was also an avid filmmaker and photographer, often sharing clips of his outdoor adventures on social media:
Kevin had a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate soul that always saw the best in others.
“He was loved and we had great hopes for him,” reads a poignant tribute from his father.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his brother, Eric; his sisters, Laura and Sarah; his grandmother, Margaret von der Linde, and many others who will cherish his eternal memory.
Kevin’s memorial was held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge on Sunday, March 19.
